As we continue to pray for all those impacted by the war in Gaza, we have made changes to our planned Passages of the Bible cruise itinerary for October 2024. While travel to Israel is not possible, we are still able to experience Egypt, Greece, and Turkey as we explore Paul’s 2nd and 3rd missionary journeys. For pre and post trip excursions you can choose a Nile River Cruise, a visit to Petra and the Dead Sea, sightseeing in Rome, or visiting additional ancient sights in Greece. We have also moved off the Norwegian Cruise Line onto the smaller, more luxurious Azamara Cruise Line.
In addition to seeing ancient wonders and experiencing the journeys of Paul in new ways, one of the advantages of this cruise is the opportunity we will have to build and deepen connections with fellow United Methodist churches. Trinity UMC in Homewood, Grace UMC in Liberty Park, and Canterbury UMC in Mountain Brook will all join us in this travel adventure.
